The R&R Podcast – Episode 9

It's Derek Medlin's turn in the rotation. For the second straight week I managed to snag him after covering a major AAU tournament. This week's event was "Peach Jam" in Augusta, GA…wait, check it…that would be NORTH Augusta, SC, the smellier, dirtier version of Augusta that no one knows of or talks about.

Naturally, we discuss the goings on at Peach Jam and basketball recruiting in general, but we open the show with a discussion of the stunning news of Georgia Tech's NCAA penalties that seemingly came out of nowhere. If someone were to write a book on how to get investigated by the NCAA without getting noticed, Georgia Tech's AD should write the preface.

You can listen to this week's episode here at R&R,

visit the TalkShoe page that hosts the podcast (where you can get caught up on past episodes as well) or subscribe to the podcast through iTunes or an RSS feeder using either of the following two links:

I’m still surprised the AJC–normally a rocksolid publication–didn’t know a thing about it.
